My experience as a middle school teacher, wife, widow, woman of faith, and grandmother has given me a unique and varied perspective which is fueling my work writing nonfiction stories as well as fictional chapter books for elementary school students. Some of my work appears in anthologies from a small traditional press. I will be included in an upcoming collection by the Florida Writers Association.
Follow me on my journey.
Here's hoping it inspires you to pursue your own.
"How I Met My Other: True Stories, True Love"
In this 2019 anthology, I share my journey from a young woman beginning my career, to meeting and losing my first husband, to eventually beginning a new life.
"Along the Shore: Strategies for Living with Grief"
This anthology includes one of the strategies I used to help me navigate the feelings I experienced after the death of my husband.
My first book is in the editing stages. I'm looking forward to sharing it with you in the near future.
Watch for information on the release of another anthology which includes my work. I am looking forward to sharing this very personal and poignant essay with you.
